It’s
a reality!

license plates are now on sale!

purchase Law Enforcement
Memorial (LEM) license plates at any
local vehicle licensing office. Plates
are issued in numeric sequence.
However, beginning October 1, 2007,
you will be allowed to personalize the WSLEMF special license plate.
Any
registered owner of a vehicle can
purchase a Law Enforcement Memorial
license plate to support the WSLEMF.
Funds collected by the Department of
Licensing will be directed to the WSLEMF.
Proceeds from plate sales will ensure
maintenance for the Memorial and assist
Washington State surviving family members of line of duty
death.
People who qualify for special parking
privileges are able to receive a
disabled parking year tab to display on
the Law Enforcement Memorial license
plate. Please refer to the
Department of Licensing website for
the disabled parking privilege
requirements.
To purchase your Law Enforcement
Memorial license plate, you must pay the
original fee of $40 plus any license
fees or taxes due and $30 yearly in
conjunction with your annual vehicle
registration renewal. Each year you
renew your tabs, $28 will be given to
the WSLEMF. The $28 is an annual,
tax-deductible donation to the WSLEMF.
Law Enforcement Memorial license plates
are available for two plated vehicles,
motorcycles, and trailers. The plate may
be transferred from vehicle to vehicle

2005.
